Koh Teck Wah, Emeritus Senior Counsel for Syngenta is the current Vice President of SIPI. Teck Wah is also concurrently holding the position of President of the Asia and Pacific Seed Alliance (APSA). He brings nearly three decades of invaluable seed industry experience to these roles. During his remarkable 25-year tenure with Syngenta, he served as Head of Legal for the Asia Pacific business where he played a pivotal role in regional business development and legal strategy of the company.

 

His extensive expertise spans intellectual property protection, plant variety rights, and anti-counterfeiting initiatives. Throughout his career, Teck Wah has been instrumental in strengthening seed protection frameworks across Asia Pacific. His leadership in multiple industry organizations has significantly contributed to advancing the seed sector's interests and promoting sustainable agricultural practices in the Asia Pacific region.
